Freddie Mercury, born Farrokh Bulsara on September 5, 1946, was a British songwriter and singer who achieved worldwide fame by leading The Rock Band Queen. He is known as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music. Freddie amassed a lot of wealth for himself and it was 50 million Dollars and an estate which was inherited by his parents, first and second wife(Mary Austin and Jim Hotton), sister, and his friends.
The singer married Mary in 1970, and the marriage lasted for six years. Freddie later married Jim in 1985 till he died in 1991. He died of Bronchopneumonia as a complication of AIDS.

His parents were Bomi and Jer Bulsara. He was schooled, at English-style boarding schools in India at age 8. While Freddie was in St Peter’s School, he formed a school band at age 12.

He formed The Queen band in 1970 with guitarist, Brian May, and drummer, Roger Taylor. Together, they made hits like “Killer Queen” “We Are The Champions” and ” Somebody to Love”.
Freddie’s songs, ” We Are the Champion” and Bohemian Rhapsody” was voted as the greatest songs of all time by major polls organized by Sonny Erricson and Guinness World Records. The two songs were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
The Queen band sold 300 million records worldwide and is regarded as one of the best bands in the U.K.
