Aretha Franklin born on March 25, 1942, was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. She was good at what she does, so acquiring wealth was not a problem. Aretha was worth 80 million Dollars before she died and also owned an estate. According to some of the family members, Franklin had no will when she died so there certain misunderstandings among them but finally, the estate was shared among her four sons.
The singer placed ninth on 2 occasions in Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and that is where she got the name”Queen of Soul” with 75 million record sales globally.

Her parents were Clarence LaVaughn Franklin and Barbara Siggers Franklin. She got married to Ted White in 1961 and they divorced in 1969 for some infidelity issues. Franklin later got married again to Glynn Turman in 1978 and went separate ways in 1984.
She got five stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1979 and also got her voice declared as a natural resource of Michigan in 1985. Aretha was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Franklin won a Grammy Legend Award in 1991 and Grammy Lifetime Award in 1994.
