American actress and model Jerry Hall was born on July 2, 1956. She started modeling in the 1970s and quickly rose to the top of the industry. She made the switch to acting and starred in Batman in 1989. The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger had four children with Hall, who was his longtime lover. Rupert Murdoch, a media billionaire, is her husband.
Marjorie Sheffield, a medical records librarian, and John P. Hall welcomed Hall into the world in Gonzales, Texas. She is of Dutch, English, and Irish ancestry. She was reared in Mesquite, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
At age 16, Hall received an early North Mesquite High School diploma. She studied gymnastics, tennis, and archery at Eastfield College while still in high school. Since she was sixteen, Hall has spoken French with ease.

Terry, her identical twin sister, has had positions as a real estate broker, real estate investor, and a photographer. One of their three older sisters, Rosy Hall, was a pioneering Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Hall learned that she was related to Humphrey Best, a friend of American explorer Daniel Boone, through the television program Who Do You Think You Are?
