James Lawrence Mora is the head football coach at the University of Connecticut. From 2012 until 2017, he was the head coach of the Pac-12 Conference’s UCLA Bruins.
Mora was a head coach in the NFL from 2004 to 2006 and in 2009. He coached the Atlanta Falcons for three seasons before coaching the Seattle Seahawks in 2009.
He also worked as an analyst for NFL Network and Fox Sports.
Mora played collegiate football for the Washington Huskies from 1980 through 1983 before joining the coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 1984.
