Roseanne Park, widely known by her stage name Rosé, was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on February 11, 1997. She is the youngest child of her Korean immigrant parents.
Rosé’s family moved to Melbourne, Australia when she was a child, where she grew up and attended Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College.
Career Beginnings
Rosé’s passion for music began at a young age. She auditioned for YG Entertainment, a South Korean entertainment company, in 2012 and was the only Australian to pass the audition.
She trained for four years under the company and was eventually selected as a member of the girl group Blackpink.
