"Being a baby mama doesn’t mean you should be entitled to your baby father’s money" - Sandra Iheuwa Slams Sophia Momodu's Sense of Entitlement to Davido's Money

In a recent social media outburst, Sandra Iheuwa, the baby mama of talent manager Ubi Franklin, expressed her disdain for Sophia Momodu’s perceived sense of entitlement to Davido’s money. Taking to her Instagram page, Sandra made it abundantly clear that being a baby mama does not automatically entitle one to their baby daddy’s financial support.

In her candid statement, Sandra emphasized that the sole responsibility of the baby daddy is to contribute towards the upbringing and welfare of their child. She firmly stated that financial obligations should not extend beyond that and should not be exploited as a means of personal gain.

“First of all, being a baby mama doesn’t mean you should be entitled to your baby father’s money,” Sandra boldly asserted. “The only responsibility he has is towards your child, and it’s also your responsibility to take care of your child as well. It shouldn’t be an avenue for you to make money or be taken care of.”

Sandra went on to address the issue of financial abuse, noting that it does not apply to baby mamas, especially when the baby daddy is actively fulfilling his obligations. She argued that the term “financial abuse” should be reserved for cases where the father neglects his parental duties entirely. Sandra suggested that instead of complaining about their personal needs not being met, baby mamas should express gratitude if their child’s father is fulfilling his role.

“Financial abuse doesn’t apply to baby mamas, especially when the baby daddy is present and doing what he should for his child,” Sandra explained. “Unless he stops taking care of his child, there is no basis for such claims. Most married women experience financial abuse from their spouses, and it’s like a scheme for them to stay in a useless marriage with no means to leave.”

Sandra further emphasized that if a baby mama finds herself in a situation where her child’s father is adequately providing for their child but not supporting her financially, she should take matters into her own hands. She encouraged them to seek independence and strive to support themselves and their own expenses.

“If you are a baby mama and your baby daddy is taking care of your child, be grateful. But if he’s not taking care of you and you are ranting about ‘financial abuse,’ madam, go and work and take care of yourself and your bills,” Sandra advised. “I support women, but I don’t support nonsense.”

Sandra concluded her statement by questioning the entitlement and expectations some individuals have towards others, particularly when they are not even in a formal marital relationship. She expressed her gratitude towards her own situation and made it clear that she would never publicly complain about her child’s father not supporting her financially.

“I don’t know why anyone would feel entitled to another person’s money, especially when you are not even a wife,” Sandra declared. “If my son’s father was taking care of my son, I would be grateful and would never rant. As long as I’m alive and well, you will never catch me complaining about him not taking care of me.”

Sandra Iheuwa’s comments have sparked a discussion on the responsibilities and entitlements associated with being a baby mama. While some may agree with her perspective, others argue that financial support for the mother is essential for the overall well-being of the child. As the debate continues, it remains to be seen how public opinion will shape the expectations placed on celebrity baby daddies and their financial obligations.
