Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has disclosed why he is yet to win a Grammy award.

Portable praised himself describing himself as a talented singer who can easily win a Grammy award. He further added that if anyone partners with him, the person might bag a Grammy Award.

In a video shared on his page, Portable disclosed that he has the potential to win a Grammy award. He lamented how he had been overlooked several times.

In Portable’s words:

“Olamide picked me and I came out from nowhere, nobody raised me, God is my pioneer.”

“I’m telling you, if not that you neglected me, I would have won a Grammy. Feature me if you want to collect Grammy, drop verse for me, and I get chorus. Ordinary woman collected the Grammy from you people.”

He further emphasized his resilience, sharing the video with a caption:

“Failure is not an option for me. I don’t have a backup, I am the backup. That’s why I am working hard. I believe in my phone and sub. Any disappointment is a blessing.”
