His work is characterized by a synthesis of electronic music sounds and traditional orchestral arrangements. Since the 1980s, Hans Zimmer has composed music for more than 150 films. He won two Oscars for his music for The Lion King (1994) and Dune (2021). His credits include Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Man of Steel, Interstellar and Dunkirk.
