A newly wedded man laments the denomination of money sprayed on him by guests at his wedding in Benin despite investing much in the event setup.
A video making the rounds on social media captured the lamentation of a groom who received N20, N50, and N100 notes in bulk at his wedding. According to him, despite the surplus of food eaten by his guests, they refused to spray him N1000, or N500 notes.

He pressed on to complain about the condition of the notes for not being mint notes but torn and damaged naira notes.
“See wetin una dey spend, una come wedding chop chop even pack go house,” he said in part.
