Tears flow as the corpse of 26-year-old Air India flight attendant, Lamnunthem Singson her hometown in India.
Singson was one of the 241 passengers on board Air India Flight AI 171 that crashed into a medical hostel in Ahmedabad, on June 12, 2025, shortly after takeoff
Her body was transported to Dimapur airport in Nagaland, where family members and community leaders paid their respects with tributes and condolences.
The community in Kangpokpi, Manipur, came together to bid farewell to Singson, who relocated from Imphal in 2023 due to ethnic unrest.
However, funeral arrangements are underway, for her last rites to be held according to traditional customs.
