She recently spoke about their love, revealing that the famous DJ always wanted to be everyone’s “Superman.” Holker also divulged that she launched the Move with Kindness Foundation to support mental health initiatives and spread positivity.

Boss, a renowned dancer and DJ famous for his role as the former “Ellen DeGeneres Show” DJ, passed away to suicide in December last year, leaving a void in the hearts of fans and loved ones. On what would have been his 41st birthday, his wife offered a glimpse into the family’s journey of navigating grief and honoring him by posting photos of his gravesite alongside a moving tribute.
The photos shared on Instagram show Holker with their children, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia, at Boss’s graveside. The atmosphere was a mix of sad reflection and joyful remembrance, capturing how the family navigated life after their beloved husband and father.

She Opened Up About Stephen Boss’ Tragic Demise

Holker has been transparent about the challenges of grief and profound sense of loss, as she recently opened up about coping with the loss of her late husband. In an interview with People magazine, she reminisced on several loving moments she and the “So You Think You Can Dance” alum shared while revealing how he always thought he could be everyone’s “Superman.”
During the conversation, Holker recalled that one of their favorite things to do was cooking dinner together in the kitchen, noting how he would “hold my back every time I walked past him.”
The TV host also recalled that during mealtime, their family of five would participate in what they fondly called “random conversations” filled with lots of laughter. Holker reflected on the authenticity of their love, describing it as “so real and so loud.”

“We always told people our house was like a choreographed dance,” she added.

Elsewhere in her deeply personal and touching chat with People, Holker shared insights into the profound essence of her husband, describing him as someone who aspired to be everyone’s “Superman and Protector” despite him going through a low phase of his own.
She noted that his death deeply affected and shocked her as “no one had any inkling that he was low. He didn’t want people to know.” Holker was also left puzzled as she admitted she didn’t grasp the magnitude of his struggles despite being his partner all along.
“It’s been really hard because I can’t understand what was happening in that moment [he died],” she shared, adding that she’s committed to continuing her late husband’s legacy as the “beautiful man” he was.
The couple, well-known for their love story, had often shared glimpses of their life together, painting a picture of a relationship built on mutual respect and deep connection. They got married in 2013 after first meeting in 2006 at a mutual friend’s party.
Allison Holker Dances Again

Holker celebrated her late husband’s posthumous birthday after she took to the dance floor to bust down some moves for the first time since his death.
In August, the TV host posted a clip of her and actor-choreographer Brittany Perry-Russell dancing to Missy Elliott’s “Bomb Intro / Pass That Dutch.” She thanked Perry-Russell for creating a “fun” environment and making her “feel safe” during the experience.
“Truly felt so good to dance again,” Holker wrote on Instagram. “I was overwhelmed with so many emotions. I was both scared and excited. But dance has always been there for me… even now and I am so grateful for that.”
