The young person’s mother expressed shock upon seeing a screenshot suggesting that Edwards was anticipating the child’s performance. In response to the allegations, the BBC has suspended Edwards and stated that they take all such claims seriously, with robust internal processes in place to address them.
Feeling dissatisfied with the lack of action taken by the BBC after a month since they reported the complaint, the young person’s family reached out to The Sun newspaper to share their concerns.
