During her time at the 80th International Venice Film Festival, Priscilla pointed out that she “never had sex” with Elvis at 14, as implied in the new Sofia Coppola biopic. Priscilla attended the Photocall and the press conference, where she spoke about meeting Elvis at only 14 and befriending him immediately.

At the time, her parents found it difficult to understand why the star, who was ten years older, was romantically interested in their daughter. However, Priscilla explained that she was only young in years and far “older in life.” She then defended the musician, noting that they had no sexual relationship until they were both ready.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Priscilla said, “Even though I was 14, I was older in life than in years. And that was the attraction. People think, ‘Oh, it was sex, it was this.’ Not at all. I never had sex with him.”

This comes after Priscilla previously noted in the 1985 memoir that she got married as a virgin. Priscilla claimed that the rock star wanted to wait until marriage to have sex with her for the first time.

Priscilla Presley opened up on her thoughts about “Priscilla” after watching the premiere of the 2023 biopic at the Venice Film Festival. She revealed that it was hard to watch the movie as it reminded her a lot of her time with Elvis.

According to THR, Priscilla explained, “It’s tough to watch a film about you and your life and love.” The film traced the story of the businesswoman and her romantic life with Elvis as a teenager.

Directed by Sofia Coppola, it focuses on the 1985 autobiography created by Priscilla, where she detailed their time together. The movie is set to premiere in October.

During the press conference, Priscilla revisited memories she shared with her former husband as a teenager. Now 78, she recalled being a shoulder to cry on for the deceased musician at such a young age, especially when he lost his mother. She also noted that this was one of the things that drew them closer to each other.

Priscilla recalled, “Elvis would pour his heart out to me. His hopes, his fears, his loss of his mother. And I was the person who sat there to listen and to comfort him.” She expressed that they were more connected “in mind and thought” than anything else, forming the basis for the relationship.

Amid his challenges, Priscilla noted that Elvis had a good personality. The star respected how young she was and maintained boundaries while relating with her. “He was very kind, very soft, very loving. But he also respected that I was only 14 years old,” Priscilla stated.

Priscilla looked dashing in her black and floral combination for the film festival. The businesswoman posed with the “Priscilla” stars Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi, who depicted herself and Elvis, respectively. The duo were able to attend the event following the SAG-AFTRA Interim agreement obtained for the film, as noted by Deadline.

This allowed the stars to be present despite the ongoing strike. At the festival, Elordi sported a classic gray blazer and trousers with Orange tinted glasses, while Spaeny complemented the fit with an off-shoulder white dress and pink heels. Other stars that graced the event included Sadie Sink, Coppola, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Sink went for a simple pair of blue jeans, graphic tees, a white tote bag, and black loafers, while Gyllenhaal was stunned in a white shirt and black pants.
