The rumors of Nelly dating Ashanti have lately been on the rise. While now it has been confirmed by the rapper himself during a show. Nelly during an episode of Philo’s Boss Moves with Rasheeda talked about his dating rumors. He said about getting back with Ashanti “Yeah, we cool again”.

Talking about Ashanti he said “I think it surprised for both of us. It wasn’t anything that was planned. I think we both were pretty much doing what we do. But sometimes being separate, you understand one another more. You could be like, ‘Well, yo, let me exactly see maybe what they see’. Because we all can be defensive sometimes I our own relationship. And we know we wrong, but we gonna stand on it. But we all a victim to that”.

It wasn’t just Nelly who confirmed his relationship with Ashanti again. But the latter also hinted at her relationship with the rapper along with her red-carpet appearance at the 2023 MTV VMAs. It wasn’t any statement with which Ashanti confirmed her rekindled romance with Nelly.

Rather it was the personalized clutch bag that she carried that night for the event that said it all. The clutch bag had the face of both her and Nelly imprinted on it. To PEOPLE though she said, “We’re in a great space, everything is positive, we’re having a lot of fun”.
