Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade, has come under scrutiny as she is accused of owing the late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi, a sum of N250,000.

The allegation surfaced during the 8-day Fidau Prayer held in honor of the deceased actor, where a public announcement was made urging Ade to refund the money to the late actor’s burial committee.

The funds were reportedly sent to Ade by Murphy as payment for a role in his upcoming movie, which was yet to be filmed before his untimely demise.

During the solemn gathering, attended by numerous guests, the announcer took the opportunity to address the matter publicly, appealing to Adunni Ade to fulfill her financial obligation.

In Yoruba language, the announcer’s words were;

Adunni Ade, please return the N250,000 that you owe the late Murphy Afolabi.”

The accusation has brought attention to Adunni Ade, who now finds herself at the center of a financial dispute following the demise of her colleague.
