Maiduguri Flood: Verydarkman Make a Passionate Request to Shettima, Don Jazzy and All Those Who Contributed to Bobrisky When in Prison

Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, an outspoken social media critic and self-proclaimed activist, sent an emotional appeal to Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima Mustapha, and a slew of Nigerian celebrities in a compelling new video.

Gistlover recalls reporting that Bobrisky, the controversial transgender figure, recently flaunted the huge monetary presents he got from A-list celebrities during his jail term.

VeryDarkMan, in response, revealed his disappointment in big names like Don Jazzy, Funke Akindele, Tonto Dike, and Tiwa Savage, who topped the list of celebrity donors to Bobrisky, warned them about the need to step up and reciprocate their extravagant donations when the call for societal aid arises.

He threatened to expose their perceived hypocrisy even further if they continued to overlook the situation of the less fortunate.

Fast forward to the current day, and VeryDarkMan has taken his campaign to the streets. In a dramatic video posted on Facebook on September 13, he was seen in the centre of Maiduguri, surrounded by a heartbreaking scene of children, women, and men dealing with the harsh reality of poverty.

With palpable urgency, he urged the celebrities who donated to Bobrisky to cough up hundreds of millions for this starving community, which is trapped in a cycle of despair and poverty.

VeryDarkMan also sent a sincere message to Vice President Shettima, who had earlier visited the region with food gifts. He begged Shettima to move beyond handouts and give his people with the basic necessities they sorely need to thrive.
