Cook Sewell lists Yotam Ottolenghi, Maeve O’Meara and Nigella Lawson as her culinary idols. Sewell’s dream is to one day open a small cooking school, Larissa also hopes to travel and write about food and culture.

Sewell, 38, is a contestant on the 15th season of MasterChef Australia 2023, also known as MasterChef Australia: Secrets & Surprises. The new season will feature 18 home chefs who will demonstrate their culinary skills in the MasterChef kitchen. The show began airing on Monday 1 May 2023 on Channel 10 and 10 Play.
Sewell confirmed she was part of the cooking show, telling her followers on Instagram: “In what could potentially be the worst kept secret in the history of the world… I can finally confirm that I’m happy to announce that I’m officially on Masterchef Australia 2023… CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
