Big Brother Naija Season 8 winner, Kellyrae, has responded to critics who claim he did not deserve the N100 million grand prize, calling them “not wise.”
Some participants and fans, including fellow contestant Shaun, have argued that Kellyrae’s contributions to the show were insufficient to warrant his victory.
However, during a recent podcast hosted by BBNaija alum Adekunle Olopade, Kellyrae addressed the criticisms head-on.
Speaking on his issues with fellow contestant Onyeka, he stated that despite not being on good terms, he dares not undermine her accomplishments.
“Even though Onyeka is not on good terms with my wife, Kassia, she is a very talented person. Because we are not on good terms, it doesn’t mean I should discredit her,” Kellyrae said.
He further expressed disbelief at the attitudes of some of his colleagues:
“So, I don’t know what some of my colleagues saw in me in the house that made them feel they were more deserving of the prize money than my wife and I. It means you are actually a dull person. You are not wise.”
Kellyrae’s comments have stirred mixed reactions online, with supporters applauding his confidence while others debate the fairness of his win. Despite the controversy, Kellyrae remains steadfast in defending his victory.
