One current and multiple former employees of The Kelly Clarkson Show came forward to describe their workplace culture as toxic and emotionally abusive during an interview with Rolling Stone.
Moreover, the bombshell exposé was ultimately published on Friday in the hopes to put an end to the harmful culture allegedly taking place behind the scenes.
In addition, the staffers revealed that producers of the hit show often ‘bullied and intimidated’ which started to impact negatively on their mental health.

A former employee said, ‘I remember going up on the roof of the stage to cry, being like, “Oh, my gosh, what am I doing? Why am I putting myself through this?”‘
Subsequently, another former worker came forward to tell the media outlet that they had to visit a psychiatrist for the first time in their life as they could not deal with it ‘mentally.’
Furthermore, an ex-worker alleged that the show has, ‘deterred me from wanting to work in daytime ever again. When I say I was traumatized, I was really traumatized.’
Besides that, multiple employees also said that the show did not pay them enough to make a living on those salaries.

Kelly Clarkson has finally responded to the allegations of toxic work culture on her talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Nevertheless, the 41-year-old singer took to her official Instagram handle to share a lengthy post and address the claims.

She wrote, ‘In my 20 years in the entertainment industry, I’ve always led with my heart and what I believed to be right.’
She went on to add, ‘I love my team at “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and to find out that anyone is feeling unheard and or disrespected on this show is unacceptable.’
Clarkson continued, ‘I have always been, and will continue to be, committed to creating a safe and healthy environment at “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”‘
Meanwhile, an anonymous ex-worker of the talk show spoke in favor of Clarkson while talking with a media outlet.
They stated, ‘Kelly is fantastic. She is a person who never treats anyone with anything but dignity and is incredibly appreciative.’
