According to an ex-teacher of Donda Academy, the star Kanye West prohibited black history books from the school and served sushi to students only. Cecilia Hailey, who is suing West, the Chatsworth, Calif., school and its directors for racial discrimination and wrongful termination, claims West banned books — including a memoir by Mark Bixler about four Sudanese victims, The Lost Boys of Sudan. Because Kanye did not want anything to do with black history, Page Six reports that the $15,000-a-year Christian school may only have 35 to 40 students left.

Due to the shooting of one of the parents, ‘The Lost Boys of Sudan’ was banned. In ‘Harry Potter’, there are murders, but the kids were reading it. According to my sources, Kanye wasn’t interested in history. A lawsuit alleges that students were only given sushi for lunch prepared by a chef. Having worked as a teacher and administrator for more than 25 years, Hailey joined the school when it reopened last November after a brief closure due to West’s anti-Semitic remarks.
Kanye West has been sued by two Black women who were teachers at his private school, Donda Academy.

A Lawsuit Alleges That Kanye West Banned Black History Books From Cchools And Fed Kids Sushi
Those two former teachers accuse Kanye West of banning books on Black history and feeding students only sushi at his private Christian school, Donda Academy. West banned books about the Sudan civil war, such as The Lost Boys of Sudan, which is the subject of a lawsuit for racial discrimination and wrongful termination. Moreover, Haley told Page Six that there was no breakfast on campus: “There was only sushi.” “You had young kids eating raw sushi and cucumber rolls all day long,” she said. Children didn’t like it, and that’s all they had.” The lawsuit also claims the school never hired a nurse or janitor, that chairs weren’t allowed on the property, and staff couldn’t hang artwork. According to TMZ, West also ordered the children not to use utensils while eating. As an experienced teacher and administrator, Hailey joined the school shortly after it reopened after a brief shutdown following West’s anti-Semitic scandal. Donda was just a luxury daycare, Hailey claimed, so Kanye would never send his own children there. Initially working as a substitute, Hailey said, she was given a contract in January after assisting Moira Love, the current principal. There were behavioural issues and disorganization among administrators, and students were not being taught effectively, she said.
There were so many changes for the kids and so many teachers. As the fourth or fifth principal they had in three years, Hailey said, they had had ten in three years. There wasn’t anything wrong with the kids, it was just that there was so much disruption. Chekarey Byers, another Donda teacher, joins Hailey in her lawsuit. They claim that they were discriminated against on account of their race, that their wages were illegally withheld, and that they were terminated on March 3 because they reported code violations. There was also a lack of discipline among students, Hailey said, as well as widespread bullying. A fifth-grade student slapped an eighth-grade student in the face, she recalled. According to Hailey, she does not understand why parents leave their children enrolled at the school, which offers no grading system, but she speculates they might be star-struck by West. After requesting that she speak with West, Hailey said Love told her she would be fired if she ever spoke to the star, and she was called “aggressive.” Despite the fact that we have great students, we have no leadership at Donda. I was upset that he would attend his own children’s activities, but not Donda’s.
