Starship Entertainment announces Rei’s temporary hiatus due to health problems
IVE’s Rei agency, Starship Entertainment took to the online cafe for the group’s fans on 11th April to announce that she is temporarily suspending her group activities.
Moreover, they shared that the 19-year-old singer needs time to get treatment following her recent health struggles.
The statement read, ‘Rei recently felt abnormal symptoms such as heart palpitations and stuffiness, so she visited a hospital and received consultation and a checkup.’

They explained, ‘Based on the opinion from the expert medical institution and ample discussion with Rei, we decided to temporarily halt scheduled activities for the recovery of her health.’
Moreover, they asked the fans to be understanding of the issue and further apologized for the concern. Also, they claimed that they will try to share frequent updates about IVE’s Rei’s health with the group’s fans.
They stated, ‘We apologize for causing fans to worry through sudden news. The agency will do our best so that Rei can get rest while focusing on treatment.’
Besides that, the group’s music video for their song, ‘I AM from I’ve IVE’ was dropped on 10th April. Additionally, it has been viewed by more than 16 million users on YouTube.
