Iggy Azalea details her split with Playboi Carti
Iggy Azalea recently sat down for an interview with Emily Ratajkowski for her podcast, High Low with EmRata.
In addition, the 32-year-old rapper shared details of the split with her ex-boyfriend and father of her child Playboi Carti in 2020.
She said, ‘Something happened one day with my son’s father and me and it was just one of those moments where you’re just like, “I didn’t wake up thinking this is what my day would be.” But by the end of the day, I was on a plane to Los Angeles and I never went back.’
Additionally, she continued, ‘I didn’t think I was going to be leaving when I left.’
Azalea went on to admit that supposedly felt responsible to keep their family together.
She added, ‘My father and my mother had such a volatile relationship that I wish I had seen less of it. And so that was what happened to me in that moment that I had on that day.’
Azalea revealed, ‘I was like, I will never let my son see this because I don’t want him to see someone talk to me this way too but because I don’t want him to ever learn this, I don’t want him to be exposed to this.’
Playboi Carti was arrested for choking his 14 weeks pregnant girlfriend
Playboi Carti was taken into custody on 29th December 2022 in Georgia on aggravated assault charges.

Moreover, it was reported that the 26-year-old Magnolia rapper allegedly choked his pregnant girlfriend on 20th December.

The alleged victim stated that an argument broke out after she confronted the Miss the Rage singer about the baby and paternity test. However, things took a turn and their argument abruptly became physical.
Meanwhile, the unidentifiable woman mentioned that Carti pushed her after grabbing her throat. He then continued to hold her neck until she could barely breathe.
Fortunately, their alleged fight came to a stop when a witness jumped in to save her. But the woman claims that Carti tried to allegedly attack her again when she was in her car.
Besides that, the woman admitted that she had been going out with Carti for the past two years and moved in with him in the summer.
