Casper had done the line dance all over the world over the years. He noted that one of his songs has been played in stadiums across the country, including hockey, basketball, football, and baseball, as well as at the Olympic Games. “Everyone can do it.” Casper was diagnosed with cancer in 2016.”They diagnosed me with two types of cancer in 2016, renal & neuroendocrine, which affects the kidney and liver,” Casper explained. They attempted surgery but were unable to do it because the kidney was connected to the major artery, so they decided not to go ahead with it. Casper shared his battle with the dangerous illness and stated that he was having difficulty eating. He’d also started to lose a lot of weight.

On Monday, he died, seven years after being diagnosed with cancer. In an interview earlier this year, the actor discussed his diagnosis. “The doctors diagnosed me with renal and neuroendocrine cancers, which is kidney and liver cancer,” he said. They went in to try to do surgery, but when they discovered that the kidney was attached to the major artery, they decided not to proceed. They resolved to simply treat it.” DJ Casper revealed to ABC 7 Chicago just months before his death that he had dropped weight, losing roughly 180 pounds. During the May interview, he did, however, express his determination to the publication. “If you’re familiar with me, you know I’m not going to stop,” he remarked. I’m going to keep going. I’ll keep going till I can’t anymore.” He also advised folks to keep doing the Cha-Cha Slider during difficult times in their lives. Following the news of his demise, people have paid their respects.

Following the announcement, another user commented, “A true Chicago legend.” The Cha-Cha Slide, also known as the Casper Slide Part 2, debuted in 2000. It goes on to chart internationally in the years after its first release, peaking at number one in the UK in 2004. DJ Casper previously stated that the original version of the song was written as an aerobic exercise for a relative. It’s believed he wrote it for his nephew, who was working as a personal trainer at the time. According to legend, as the song gained popularity, he wrote a second version, which became a worldwide hit.
