1. If you study, you get better grades

There is no way around it. It makes perfect sense. If you study, then you are definitely better off than if you didn’t study. Studying gives you knowledge and facts that you need to use in tests and exams. Study = success. This is a simple formula.

2. Write down the questions

This is the study approach I like to use. If I’m studying my lecture notes or textbook, I make up questions from the content. It’s also a great last-minute study tip. Writing down questions allows you to familiarize yourself with the topic.

3. Do the worst

Your worst attempt at studying is better than none. Don’t wait for the right time or the perfect mood to study. Sit down now and start learning. Take your time, scribble in the margins – but make sure you learn.

4. Do as little as possible

If you don’t want to study, at least open a book and write down what topics you should study. This will motivate you further and you may end up with a full-fledged study. This tactic will help you feel productive. It also makes you want to study – especially when you see how much you have to study!

5. Organize your notes

There is nothing more frustrating than studying with messy notes or reading. Your study session turns into an organization session. Take the time to organize your notes, store them in well-labeled folders, and get the textbooks you need for your classroom. This will make it much easier for you to study for tests and exams.
