Sam Haskell Jr, who was charged with the killing of his wife and his in-laws, showed up in court for his latest arraignment without a shirt.
As we reported, the son of powerful celebrity agent Sam Haskell Sr. was initially arrested after body parts allegedly belonging to a woman were found in a garbage bag a few miles away from his home in Los Angeles.
He has since been charged with three counts of murder.

Haskell Jr. showed up at a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday for his hearing, shirtless and with a velcro ensemble strapped to his waist. As expected he was handcuffed and held a nylon containing what looked like snacks as he stood before a judge.
According to authorities, Haskell Jr’s unusual appearance in court was due to his suicidal thoughts. An officer present at the hearing claimed that the alleged criminal initially was wearing a velcro vest with no material he could choke or injure himself with during the process.
However, the vest kept falling, so it was taken off.
Further details were not given about the result of the hearing but Haskell Jr is due in court next month. Recall that the 35-year-old was arrested last month on suspicion of killing his wife, Mei Haskell, and her parents, Goashan Li, 72, and Yanxiang Wang, 64.
The case began unraveling in early November when part of a woman’s body was found in a dumpster in Tarzana, California, by a homeless person going through trash bins in the parking lot of a commercial building. Law enforcement had been searching for Mei and her parents for a while before the discovery.

“When the officers responded they discovered a dismembered female wrapped in a plastic bag. It was just outside the dumpster. They confirmed that it was human remains,” LAPD Detective Efren Gutierrez said. He later specified that a torso was discovered in the garbage bag.
After the body was discovered, LAPD officers proceeded to search a home that neighbors said a man, a woman, and their three children inhabited, seemingly belonging to Haskell and his family. Police closed off a section of the area in Tarzana to collect evidence.

Blood evidence was reportedly found in the home.
Haskell Jr Caught On Video Dragging Bag Of Bodies
Following the discovery of the body part, footage surfaced showing the son of the Hollywood powerhouse. The security footage showed a man in a white shirt, who was IDed as Haskell Jr., waving down a blue moving truck to stop in front of his home.
Haskell enlisted multiple men to remove bags from his home. Two men believed to be the labor workers were seen dragging a large black garbage bag down the driveway. They then loaded the bag into a truck.
After loading two garbage bags, Haskell Jr. walked back into his house while the workers drove off in their truck.
District Attorney Gascón spoke out about the case, saying, “These shocking and gruesome crimes have sent shockwaves through our community. We stand with the victims’ loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time and will do everything in our power to ensure justice is served.”
Haskell Jr’s dad, Sam Haskell Sr., is a powerful celebrity agent who represented celebrities like George Clooney, Martin Short, Dolly Parton, Kirstie Alley, Tony Danza, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Debbie Allen.
If convicted as charged, Haskell Jr will reportedly face a maximum sentence of life without the possibility of parole.
