- Dokubo posted photos of El-Rufai’s son, Mohammed Bello, and Mark’s daughter, Blessing Onuh — both members of the House of Representatives — and asked, “Are their fathers trying to rescue us from their children?”

Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo has called out a perceived contradiction in Nigerian politics, questioning why David Mark and Nasir El-Rufai are backing the new ADC coalition while their children remain in the APC.
Reacting online, Dokubo posted photos of El-Rufai’s son, Mohammed Bello, and Mark’s daughter, Blessing Onuh — both members of the House of Representatives — and asked, “Are their fathers trying to rescue us from their children?”
She wrote on X,
Bello El-Rufai is El Rufai’s son, and Blessing Onuh is David Mark’s daughter. Both are card-carrying members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the same party their fathers now publicly criticise and claim they want to rescue Nigeria from.
“Why and how?” Dokubo asked. “Please, are their fathers trying to rescue us from their children? 🤪 Haa, people, we need to start asking the right questions.”
Her remarks resonated with many Nigerians frustrated by perceived political double standards, where powerful families hold sway across multiple parties, blurring true opposition.
