The Musk-led company is recruiting patients with quadriplegia because of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or cervical spinal cord injury. The company looks forward to evaluating the working of its device allowing what it claims to do with the help of the human brain.
More about the human clinical trial by Neuralink
The initial and main motive of the Neuralink device is to control the cursor or keyboard with the help of the human mind. As the thoughts of humans would be able to move the cursor and so on. It has many more targets to achieve. But only time will tell if they prove helpful or not to humans.
The first human patient will soon receive a Neuralink device. This ultimately has the potential to restore full body movement.
