She is the founder and owner of the jewelry brand Aya and the luxury travel agency Aya Africa. Chelsy Davy began her education at Girls College in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe before moving to Stowe School in Buckinghamshire.
Contrary to previous reports, she did not attend Cheltenham Ladies’ College. She obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Cape Town in 2006 and later went on to do an LLB at the University of Leeds, which she completed in 2009.
In September 2011, Davy joined the London law firm Allen & Overy as a paralegal. However, at the end of 2014, she decided to leave the company, which marked a shift in her career.
After studying at the Gemological Institute of America, Davy launched her own jewelry brand, Aya, in July 2016. The brand has gained recognition for its unique designs and craftsmanship.
In 2020, Davy expanded its business activities into the luxury travel sector. In an interview with Tatler Magazine, she revealed that Aya will be organizing African holidays, leading to the launch of Aya Africa.
