In a recent Reddit post, a Guest shared that they found find blood stains in their hotel room at Walt Disney World’s All-Star Resort. “So I’m currently staying at an all star resort and found a bloody fingerprint,” they wrote in the post.

There was a photo initially included, which showed a bloody fingerprint on the furniture in the guest’s room, however, it has since been deleted.

Disney’s All-Star Resort consists of three different hotels — Disney’s All-Star Sports, Disney’s All-Star Music, and Disney’s All-Star Movies.

It is unclear what these fingerprints were from, but the Guest assumed it was from housekeeping. They reported the incident to a manager, who, in turn, gave the family Gene+ for the day at no extra cost.

The Disney Genie+ costs between $15 – $35 depending on when Guests visit Walt Disney World or Disneyland as well as the Individual Lightning Lane service, which allows Guests to schedule a time to arrive at highly demanded attractions each day using the Lightning Lane entrance. The cost for Lightning Lane also varies depending on the day Guests visit. Per Disney, “In addition to getting all of the great features that come with the complimentary Disney Genie service, purchasing Disney Genie+ service offers even more convenience and flexibility, starting at $25.00 USD per ticket per day. Prices and availability vary by date.”

Disney’s All-Star Resort consists of three different hotels — Disney’s All-Star Sports, Disney’s All-Star Music, and Disney’s All-Star Movies. They are considered the “cheapest” of the nearly 35 Disney World Resort hotels on the property as they do not offer as many amenities as others, plus they typically share Disney transportation with one another.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World offer a complimentary Disney Genie service, which the website describes as “Our complimentary Disney Genie service creates your best Disney day inspired by your top interests. It also grants you new planning features, including a personalized itinerary creator. You’ll love how it saves you time by seamlessly mapping out your special day, with updates that continue from morning to night—just like a favorite navigation app.”

In order to utilize Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane, Guests had to make their selections on the day of their Park visit, which frustrated many. Now, Disney is changing that as they announced new changes coming to the app which will “simplify” the service.

“We have heard from guests that they would like ways to plan with Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane selections before the day of their park visit, and we want you to know we are working on ways guests may do this for visits in 2024,” Disney promised in their announcement. “Our goal is to give you the opportunity to spend less time planning in the park and more time enjoying your visit with friends and family. While we are not yet able to share specific details, we look forward to sharing more information at a later date.”
