Billie Eilish has obtained court-order protection for herself and her family from the man who allegedly broke into her home.

Billie Eilish gets restraining order against an alleged home intruder
Billie Eilish appeared virtually in court for a legal proceeding on Thursday.
Moreover, the judge granted the lovely singer a 5-year restraining order against 39-year-old Christopher Anderson.
In addition, the court stated that Eilish’s parents Patrick and Maggie O’Connell, and brother, Finneas, would also receive protection from the law.
Meanwhile, the latest restraining order comes a month after Eilish obtained a temporary restraining order for Anderson.
Eilish’s father Patrick claimed that Anderson broke into the family home after professing his love for the Bad Guy crooner.
However, it is important to note that Eilish has never met Anderson.
The 21-year-old Grammy-winning artist shared that she does not feel safe anymore while visiting her family.
Her concern increased when they had to call the police five times at her home in December due to Anderson’s unwanted visits.
She stated, ‘Each such occasion, including the present one, causes me substantial anxiety, fear, and emotional distress over my personal safety and that of my father, mother, and brother.’

Besides that, the perm anent restraining order states that Anderson must stay 100 yards away from Eilish, her family, and her childhood home.
Additionally, he is not allowed to contact Eilish either on social media or come near her vehicle or workplace.
The order also adds that if Anderson is found breaking any part of the record then he will immediately be taken into custody by officials.
Other instances of Billie Eilish filing for a restraining order
Billie Eilish obtained a three-year restraining order in 2019 against a male trespasser who repeatedly appeared at her Los Angeles home.
Superior Court Judge Dianna Gould-Saltma agreed to extend the duration of a court hearing.
Hence, the restraining order prevented Prenell Rousseau from attempting to contact Eilish or her parents. He was also not allowed to come near her workplace.
Additionally, the order further prohibits Rousseau from assaulting or harassing Eilish’s parents and from coming near her workplaces.
Eilish opened up about being stalked during an interview with Rolling Stone in 2019.
She said, ‘It was really traumatizing. I completely don’t feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks. I love my house.’
Eilish added, ‘I’ve loved attention my whole life, but I don’t think anyone knows what fame actually is. Because if I did want to be famous, it wasn’t this kind.’
