Fans of the Utah State Aggies were heartbroken over their team being defeated by the Missouri Tigers in their final game of the season on Thursday.
However, it appears like team cheerleader Ashlyn Whimpey was even more crushed by the loss as her reaction to the final score has turned her into a viral star.
Whimpey is the girlfriend of Utah State basketball star Sean Bairstow. Hence, it was quite understandable that she let her emotions get the better of her when the game came to an end.

In addition, the viral video shows tears welling up in Whimpey’s eyes while her lip quivers as she watches Utah State struggling to take back twelve points from Missouri Tigers.
Besides that, Whimpey talked about her now-viral heartbroken reaction to the game during an interview.
The 20-year-old Utah State junior added, ‘It kind of all just hit me at once that I was really, this is my last time to be able to even be doing this.’
She went ahead to state, ‘My Instagram started getting a bunch of follow requests and I was like, what is going on because I didn’t even realize that I had been posted on Bleacher Report.’
Whimpey mentioned, ‘Then I started getting all these messages and getting tagged in a bunch of stuff, and like within seconds, someone had tagged my Instagram in the post and I was, it’s really just crazy,’
