Police have responded to an active shooter situation at the University of Nevada, issuing several warnings to students to “RUN HIDE FIGHT.”
There are multiple wounded victims at the scene, but, at the moment, it’s still being determined how many people have been targeted in this scary incident. However, according to new reports, the alleged shooter is dead.

People currently present at the University of Nevada received several alerts warning them of the danger in the environment.
The official X account of the university wrote, “UPDSouth – UNLV UPD Alert – UNLV University Police responding to report of shots fire in BEH evacuate to a safe area, RUN-HIDE-FIGHT.”
There have since been reports that the alleged shooter has been found and is deceased after injuring multiple victims.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared in a tweet on X, “UPDATE: The suspect has been located and is deceased.”
Earlier on, footage from the location that was shared online appeared to show tactical crews moving through the campus while searching for the alleged shooter.
Police at the university said the shots were fired at Beam Hall, where the college’s Business School is located. It is unclear at this time if there were any classes in session in the building when the shooting took place.
