Colorado authorities arrested a man who they say murdered a woman he met over Snapchat by strangling her with a chokehold.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 1 from a man requesting a welfare check on an unresponsive woman at a home in the 13000 block of Halleluiah Trail. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the woman dead. After conducting several interviews, deputies arrested 26-year-old Jorge Meza-Alarcon Jr. for first-degree murder.
