Trenton Futrell (Longview Police Department).
A Texas man pulled over for going 10 mph over the speed limit ended up behind bars for unleashing a tirade of expletives and insults at the police officer who conducted the traffic stop.
It happened on April 18 in Longview, which is some 130 miles east of Dallas. The driver, Trenton Futrell, pulled into his driveway after the Longview Police officer made the traffic stop. Futrell got out of his pickup truck and immediately became confrontational, body camera video obtained by Law&Crime shows.

“You gonna block the road?,” Futrell said. “My wife’s gonna be home in a minute.”
The cop asked for his driver’s license.
“Is that a reasonable thing for you to do, blocking the road?” Futrell responded.
When the officer noted Futrell pulled out a credit card and not his ID, things devolved from there.
“Well, you got f—ing eyes, so you can see yourself in the f—ing road, can’t you?” Futrell said.
The cop tells Futrell to “calm down,” but the upset driver wasn’t having it.
“Motherf—er, you’re standing on my goddamn property,” Futrell shouted. “I do whatever the f— I want here, son.”
Seeing that this wasn’t going so well and may escalate more, the officer called for backup. Futrell pulled out his ID and held it up, but refused to hand over the license.

“Take it from me then, boy, if you’re that f—ing badass about it,” Futrell exclaimed.
Futrell continued to harp on the fact that the cop was blocking his driveway and would not hand over his license or registration information. He insisted he wasn’t required to give the cop the items, just merely show it to him.
“You see it with your f—ing eyeballs,” Futrell said, waving the items around. “You want to f—ing look, look! You don’t? F— off.”
The officer told him he needed to have the information so he could run it through his system. Futrell just became angrier.
“Figure it the f— out, you f—ing bald-headed little b—h,” Futrell yelled.
“Can you hand it to me,” the officer asked.
“No! Did I f—ing say I was gonna hand it to you the first f—ing time?” Futrell shouted, now drawing closer to the officer’s face. “No, I didn’t. Well then what the f— is wrong with your goddamn hearing, boy? When I said ‘no’ the first f—ing time, you must rape a lot of f—ing women, boy, because you don’t know what the f– no means, do you boy?”
Eventually, a second officer comes on scene. The officers give Futrell a speeding ticket and take him into custody for resisting arrest. He seems flabbergasted that he’s being arrested, despite his tirade and lack of cooperation.
“What’s the warrant for, fellas?” he said.
As the officers were putting the handcuffed Futrell into the police cruiser he asks the cop if his mother taught him “any manners or are you just as dumb as your goddamn daddy was?”
The officer just slams the door.
Futrell went to jail and later posted bond. Court records show he is slated to go on trial next month.
