Time has finally run out for an Indiana couple who brutally slaughtered a West Virginia woman — once considered a friend — over a $50 watch.

On Tuesday, Amanda Don Soultz, 32, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years for her role in the February 2023 beating and shooting death of Michelle Ann Smith.

In December 2024, Soultz pleaded guilty to one count of murder in the first degree in exchange for the future promise of the mercy granted by Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Paul M. Blake, Jr.
