A 27-year-old woman in Tennessee has been arrested after she allegedly robbed a tow truck driver at gunpoint, stopping him while he was in the middle of taking her SUV and then stealing his vehicle. Kelsey Green was taken into custody on Monday and charged with one count of felony aggravated robbery, court records reviewed by Law&Crime show.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the incident took place on the evening of Nov. 24, 2024, outside of an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Chancery Street. The driver told investigators that at about 6:50 p.m. he was outside of the address and preparing to tow a 2018 GMC Terrain with Tennessee license plates. The driver said he stood outside of the SUV and took several photographs of the vehicle before starting the process of lifting the car.
