Police have launched an investigation after a woman was allegedly raped at a BMW car garage.
The attack reportedly took place at Peter Vardy BMW on Seafield Road, Edinburgh, at around 1.35pm on Sunday, November 3.
Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with an alleged sexual assault.
He has since been released pending further enquiries as officers conduct an investigation.

In remarks reported by the Daily Record, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘Around 1.35pm on Sunday, 3 November, 2024, we received a report of a serious sexual assault of a woman at a premises in the Seafield Road area of Edinburgh.
‘A 34-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries which remain ongoing.’
The Peter Vardy dealership group says it is cooperating with the authorities as detectives make enquiries.
A spokesperson for the group told STV News: ‘We are cooperating fully with the Police and will communicate further when we are able to do so.’
