South Carolina deputies made a drug arrest after pulling over a couple on Interstate 85 in Anderson County and learning the “pregnant” woman inside was wearing a “rubber pregnancy belly” with cocaine taped behind it.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were conducting “proactive patrol” when they made the traffic stop of a car driven by Anthony Miller.
They became suspicious when Miller and his supposedly pregnant passenger, Cemeka Mitchem, “gave conflicting information about her ‘due date.’”
Realizing the deputies were becoming suspicious, Mitchem took off running, the sheriff’s office said.
“Very quickly drugs fell from the fake rubber stomach,” the department said.

Ultimately, the deputies found more than 1,500 grams of cocaine and charged Miller and Mitchem with trafficking cocaine.
The pair were denied bond and remain behind bars.
