A murder probe has been launched after a woman was shot dead and two others were rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds in Hackney.
Emergency services raced to a home in Vine Close, east London, just before 6.30pm after reports of a shooting.
Paramedics desperately tried to save the 42-year-old woman but she died at the scene.
A teenage boy, 16, and 20-year-old man were also rushed to hospital following the attack where their conditions are being assessed.
No arrests have been made at this time with a huge manhunt underway to catch the perpetrator.
Detective Superintendent Vicky Tunstall, from the local police team in Hackney, declared that whoever is responsible ‘will be brought to justice’.

Officers will remain at the scene overnight and in the coming days as they continue to probe the murder

She said in a statement: ‘This shocking incident has resulted in the death of a young woman and my thoughts are with her family at this incredibly difficult time.

‘My thoughts are also with the two people who have been taken to hospital.
‘Gun crime has no place on the streets of London and we will do all we can to bring whoever is responsible for this despicable crime to justice.’
Local police officers said they are in the ‘early stages’ of its investigation and specialist officers have been deployed to establish what happened.
Detective Tunstall added: ‘I do not underestimate the impact this incident will have on people in Hackney and I understand the community will want answers about what has happened this evening.
‘We will share further information as our investigation progresses.’

Police will remain at the scene overnight and in the coming days, with Detective Superintendent Vicky Tunstall, from the local police team in Hackney, declaring whoever is responsible ‘will be brought to justice’
Scotland Yard said the woman’s next of kin are in the process of being informed and will be supported by specialist family liaison officers.
The two others harmed in the shooting are having their conditions assessed in hospital.
