A woman has appeared in court charged with murdering her husband who was found stabbed to death at their Yorkshire home.
Victim Ryan Ellwood died shortly after being discovered by an ambulance crew at a property in Greenwood Court, Agbrigg, Wakefield, at about 11pm on Tuesday.
West Yorkshire Police launched a murder investigation into the death.
A post-mortem examination confirmed the 42-year-old father, who worked nights at Morrison’s, died from a single stab wound.
Lisa Ellwood, 40, of Greenwood Court, who is originally from Dublin, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with murder and was remanded in custody.

Ms Ellwood will appear at Leeds Crown Court on Monday.
Family and friends of Mr Ellwood shared tributes online to the Everton fan, saying they had been left ‘absolutely shocked’ and that they ‘couldn’t believe it’.
A former colleague wrote: ‘Ryan [was] a lovely man and a pleasure to work with. Sending love to his family.’
A friend said they were ‘heartbroken’, while a second added: ‘Rest in peace Ryan, you were a kind lovely bloke who would help anyone.
‘I’m gobsmacked that this has happened.’
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Hughes said: ‘We have specialist officers supporting Ryan Ellwood’s family as they try to come to terms with his tragic, untimely death.
‘I would ask that people respect their privacy at this time.
‘We have previously asked anyone with information about this incident to make contact with the investigation team. I would now ask anyone who knew Ryan and has any information that they think could assist us in our enquiries to please report it.’
