A woman has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run in western Sydney.
The 27-year-old was hit by the car on McGann Place at Cranebrook just before 4am on Friday.
The car failed to stop and the woman was found on the next street over on Sherringham Road where she was treated at the scene by paramedics for serious injuries to her head and hand.

The 27-year-old was hit by the car on McGann Place at Cranebrook in Sydney’s west just before 4am on Friday
She was then taken to hospital.
A crime scene has been established and specialist officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are at the scene.
