‘We got a 1-year-old that needs you’: Police write mother citation for leaving her children in car while she went shopping

Body camera footage shows police confronting an Ohio mother for leaving her children in her car to go shopping.

“You can’t leave your kids in the car by themselves like that,” an officer told Mycal Davis on Feb. 4 outside the Giant Eagle Market District grocery store.

“But they were sleeping,” she answered. Davis told cops she was getting dinner.
