Texas Father Mysteriously Gunned Down While Leaving Work

Police in Texas are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a 37-year-old man driving home from work in Houston.

According to police, the incident happened on the Gulf Freeway on November 2, at around 10:30 p.m. The victim, Robert Schorovsky, was shot while driving his box truck. Gunfire caused him to lose control of the vehicle, leading to a collision with two other cars.

He died two days after being rushed to an area hospital in critical condition,

“We’re all in shock. It’s been rough. Just one gunshot—no holes in the truck, no windows shot out. Just the one,” how wife, Brittany Ray, told KHOU11.

Schorovsky, a supervisor for Bright Lights, had been driving home after setting up holiday lights at the NASA building. Ray said he likely had the windows down and leaned over to roll up the passenger-side window when a single bullet struck him in the head, DailyMail reports.

A reward of up to $5,000 is available for information that results in an arrest or charges.

Anyone with information to report through the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 713-222-TIPS (8477), via their website at www.crime-stoppers.org.
