Texas Christian School Teacher Charged with Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old Girl at Wife’s Home Daycare

A teacher at a Texas Christian academy has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl at his wife’s home daycare.

According to KPRC, Hespero Amalla Jingco, 56, has been charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child after Baytown police began investigating over the summer.

The child’s mother reported the incident to police after an employee of the daycare reportedly witnessed Jingco and the little girl “in precarious situations.”

The employee told investigators that “she observed defendant kissing the child on the mouth in his office while the child was sitting on the defendant’s lap” and that she’d seen “mulitple incidents that made her uncomfortable while working.”

The little girl told investigators that Jingco touched her on her “private part” but that her clothes were never removed. She also said she didn’t see anyone else assaulted that no one other than Jingco touched her.

Baytown Christian Academy, where Jingco worked, said that he “is no longer an employee of our school” and that the allegations did not involve any BCA students. The school also said he had passed a criminal background check before he was hired.

Jingco, who also worked at his wife’s daycare, was given a $150,000 bond, KTRK said. He is due in court again on December 12, according to jail records.
