Terrifying footage has captured the moment a driver was allegedly ambushed by a group of knife-wielding teenagers before they demanded a ride.
The trio jumped into the 20-year-old man’s white Toyota Camry in Cuttlefish Circuit in Tarneit, Melbourne, on October 29, 2023.
Police allege the youths threatened the driver with a knife and demanded he drive them to a car park three minutes away on Wooten Road.
The driver took the trio to their destination before the group fled on foot.
The incident unfolded after the group allegedly robbed and attacked another man at knifepoint moments earlier.

The group allegedly approached the 24-year-old man while he was walking through Wootten Road Reserve.
One of the teens allegedly threatened the man with a knife, demanding he hand over his mobile phone at around 7.10pm.
A scuffle broke-out between all four people, and the teens allegedly fled with the man’s mobile phone.
The 24-year-old man sustained a hand injury during the struggle.
Police have appealed for assistance and released on Tuesday CCTV footage of the alleged kidnapping that unfolded moments later.
Footage showed the group run up from behind the car before they jumped into the vehicle.
One of the teenagers has been described as Caucasian with a black moustache and long black mullet.
He was wearing a blue Nike jumper and black track pants.
The second teen was described as African in appearance and had an afro hairstyle.

He was wearing a black tracksuit and dark-coloured sneakers.
The third male was also described as being African in appearance.
He was seen wearing a grey hoodie, dark tracksuit pants and carrying a dark-coloured bum bag.
