Teen pushed over port-a-potty with a mom, child inside, cops say

A mother and child standing inside of a port-a-potty in New Hampshire were “covered in feces and bodily fluid” after an 18-year-old man knocked the temporary toilet down to the ground, forcing them to be temporarily trapped inside until passersby came to help, police allege.

The man is Aiden Studer and according to a statement from the Manchester Police Department released on Facebook, the messy affair unfolded on May 8 after a “young mother” contacted police saying she was trapped with her 4-year-old daughter inside of a port-a-potty at Derryfield Park.

A man had pushed it over, she said, covering her and her daughter “in feces and bodily fluids.”

A responding police officer said that witnesses told them they watched Studer and the woman, who was not identified by police, arguing near the port-a-potty. The woman went inside to assist her child, she said, and the man “pushed it over.”

“It landed with the door on the pavement, trapping them inside. Bystanders quickly ran over to the overturned toilet and stood it up, freeing the two,” police reported.

Neither mother nor daughter were injured. She told police she had never met Studer before.

Studer is charged with two counts of criminal restraint and a single count of criminal mischief. Police said they also charged Studer with simple assault on a police officer because he allegedly threw an object at one of the officers who responded to the park.

It is unclear if Studer has retained an attorney.

A representative from the Manchester Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Monday.
