On Monday, Indiana police arrested a man who allegedly admitted to seriously injuring his 2-month-old son.
WXIN reported that Aaron Evans, 19, abused the infant because he pulled his nose ring and was being loud as he had a migraine. The baby was admitted to the hospital with bruises on his body and a healing cut on his head.
The infant was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to WXIN, an assessment revealed that the boy had suffered a subdural hemorrhage, rib and leg fractures, and evidence of prior subdural hemorrhages.
The child’s mother and a roommate reportedly told police that Evans had anger issues and easily got frustrated with his son. Additionally, Evans allegedly confessed to violently dropping his son into his car seat and intentionally dropping him on the floor.
Evans also said he punched the infant in his leg because he wanted to harm him back for pulling his nose ring while he dealt with a migraine, WXIN reported.

Evans is charged with battery resulting in serious bodily injury and neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury. His son reportedly remains in intensive care.
