Trump-appointed judge orders Steve Bannon to surrender to prison for sentence that could run right up against 2024 election

There is officially no more road for Steve Bannon to roam after the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday rejected his last-ditch effort to stay out of prison after he was convicted on two counts of contempt of Congress roughly two years ago.

The denial was released in a one-page order from Chief Justice John Roberts.
