Subway Rider Electrocuted When Stranger Pushes Him Onto Tracks

A man was arrested in New York on Wednesday, a month after he allegedly killed a man in Maryland by pushing him onto electrified subway tracks.

Christopher Foster, 28, was standing on a platform at the Shot Tower Subway stop in Baltimore on April 12 when suspect Joseph White, 39, allegedly pushed him from behind. White fled the scene after Foster landed on the tracks and was fatally electrocuted, according to WBFF.

Days after the deadly incident, police released a photo of a possible suspect they wanted to be identified.

WMAR reported that White was arrested without incident at a hotel in New York. He is awaiting extradition to Maryland where he will be charged with first-degree murder.
