Steamy jailhouse calls reveal details of heart-pounding prison break in Law&Crime’s ‘Jailbreak: Love on the Run’

The story of an Alabama corrections officer who fell in love with a murder suspect and helped him escape from jail is, as one of her former colleagues says, a real-life “disgusting romance novel.”

And now, their deadly is a heart-pounding, action-packed Netflix hit.

Produced by Law&Crime Productions, “Jailbreak: Love on the Run” is an addictive documentary that examines the fateful love between Vicky White, a once-respected Lauderdale County assistant director of corrections, and Casey White, who in May 2022 was an inmate awaiting trial for murder. Together, the two concocted a plan to get Casey White out of jail, escape, and go on the run — ultimately sacrificing everything together, all in the name of love.
